Hi guys, so today Im sharing the second card I made in the book mark style with the Country Club suite.  I have really enjoyed making these cards and this was a old class I was asked to repeat quite a few times.   I have also made some which are more feminine which I will post next.

Honey bee bundle

 

Easel card

Hi everyone, today I’m sharing a card with you were making over the next 2 weeks using the bee-u-tiful honey bee bundle.  The dsp was free from the sale-a-bration after a $90 spend and looks so gorgeous together.  It is a pretty easy ford card although can look as fancy as you like.

Simple layout

One of the fabulous points I did take away from Onstage was ensuring that there were different levels of cards to create with different stages of experience and confidence with crafting, so although I will be teaching the step by step easel some people may buy the set and get home and be stuck…so I will always show a simple layout as above, its 2 sheets of DSP cut to size and I’ve just added some colour using a blender pen.  Stamped my sentiment with the little bees, cut out on the big shot and all popped together.  The gold honeycombs are left overs from the easel card.

 

 

Something different

I didn’t know what style to call this final card but saw on Facebook from Martins Mayhem one that he had done and just had to have a go…its so out of my comfort zone and I used Pinterest for inspiration as well.  I went onto one with a old retired set but would look amazing with the sailing home stamp set.

The gangs all Meer

Hi everyone, today I want to share some cards with you I have made using the Gangs all M? stamp set which is part of the sale-a-bration promotion.  If you spend $90 or above on any products from my Stampin’ Up! shop you can get this set for free.  I think its totally adorable.

I have used this technique multiple times in classes with the old tree sets and silhouettes along with my lavinia ink stamps but this was just adorable.  In the close up you can see the shimmer paint which was mixed with alcohol and spritzed all over the card.  I learnt about this at our Stampin’ Up! onstage convention and can’t stop using it.

Edit – Requested instructions

Hi everyone so after posting on social media  I have been asked for a tutorial.  Its a very quick card and I will post a video soon.

1. Stamp you meerkats in mimento black ink
2. punch out a circle in a post it.
3. Stick it down, over the Meerkat
4. cut out a stamped Meerkat on another post it.
5. lay that over the top of the meerkat you want to colour
6. Sponge from the outside in using darkest to lightest colour working around the circle
7. Remove both post its.
8. colour the meerkats in using a black marker and make a shape of a hill or ground.  If you have left one colour it in brown
9. Use your pen if you wish to add birds
10. Spray with water or a mix of Champagne mist and Isocol alcohol
11. If doing night sky use a white gel pen to make stars a add little lines for the shooting stars.

Today I want to share with you a card I have made inspiration from Pinterest – multiple carmakers have used this technique so I am unable to credit just one person.

I have used the Lily pad dies to paper piece a die cut image in the lily impressions DSP.  This card was super easy to make, a little fiddly but well worth it with the overaldl effect.

Birthday Bonanza Suite

 

Hi everyone, today I want to share with you a few cards I have made using the adorable birthday bonanza suite and the free metallic twine and sequin combo from sale a bration.  I made the koala card too but that is already in the post to WIRES to go to a fundraiser for the bushfire relief.

I created the wobbles by using jewellery wire, a small round punch and used tape and tear to secure.  I wound the wire round a pen making a spiral shape.  It is such a fun project to try, a little extra touch was to add the fine-tip glue pen to the lions eyes and the toucans beak.
