Not all the cards I make are just stamped cards, I’m a avid colouring fan as well and love to create cards using cute images and always my favourite Stampin’ Up! products. Today this image is from the paper nest dolls digital stamps and was just perfect for this DSP. I also used the subtle 3D embossing folder which made the paper lovely and textured and looked like a rough cotton, its really visible on the card in person and really textured to touch (extremely hard to photograph).
All the DSP I sell is available in quarter shared packs or as half a pack, just contact me if you would rather this than purchase the whole set…however, I know I will be buying refill of this design as it it super versatile.
Thanks for stopping by and having a look at my card, if you wish to purchase please click the shop now button and don’t forget to check out the hostess codes to see if we can get you some rewards too.
Hugs, Lynsey xx

Hello my lovely crafters.
I thought I would let you all know I will be having a market stall at the Ugly Mugs Cafe, Greenfields, WA on Saturday 7th September from 8am till 1pm. This is to celebrate their 4th birthday. Would be lovely to see some of you down there to support my business.
Hello crafties, how adorable is this project? I found it on youtube by scrimpingmommy.com. I think its extremely important and respectful that if you case a card you give credit to the original artist. This demonstrator has some wonderful tutorials, and deserves the recognition that I have cased the project. I absolutely love it when people case my work, its what were all about “copy and share everything”.
This is quite a easy but super effective card to make and you could do absolutely any colour or flower design, I chose daisies as they are my absolute favourite, and I love the blues and cannot wait to use the new 2019-2020 colours with this design, the sea side spray is my favourite. I have added little extra daisy on the blue card as I had it in my stash and thought it fitted perfectly. I had only ordered one set of the perennial essence flower inserts which was a bit silly of me as I would love to put them in all the flowers, but I have to save some for the class members 😉

Hello my crafty friends. Its been a busy few weeks at Craft by the Ocean, and time to get blogging again so I can share with you all some of the work I have been creating.
I think you can all tell that I love this set, I also wanted to completely case the catalogue to show my customers how easy card making can be with limited supplies.
The magnolia Lane memories and more speciality cards and envelopes contains enough supplies for 20 cards, the magnolia lane memories and more card pack has 50 double sided designs in 4″x6″ with a further 50 doubles sized 3″x4″ cards, which by my maths equates to $2.08 per card with over half the card pack left, which if you were to add the assorted memories anymore cards and envelopes to you would be able to create 40 cards easily.
These cards are so elegant they really don’t need extra embellishments. I adapted the cards from the catalogue with my supplies, again showing how easy it is to recreate the gorgeous cards in the yearly catalogue.

For my workshop this week I showed my customers the difference between watercolour pencils and using the ink pads for colouring.
The first card is coloured using inks and a blending pen and the second card is using watercolour pencils and a blending pen. I like to see them side by side so you can see the differences between the 2 mediums.

Today I have made a Christmas card using the Free as a bird stamp set. I am eagerly waiting for my pre-order of the new DSP to arrive so I have used last years papers as I was so excited with this idea I couldn’t wait. In Australia we don’g get Robins but they are still a iconic Christmas bird as I primary grew up in in the UK.
The inside of the card was just as much fun to make as the outside.
